Hello world and welcome to my new blog. I am an author, librarian/historical researcher and an aficionado of historical fiction.
I write historical fiction and have a passion for reading historical fiction. For my day job I am a librarian/historical researcher at Guildhall Library specialising in the History of London. I run events such as discussion groups, online talks and have even put on four Regency Balls at the Guildhall in the City of London.
Through this blog I hope to bring interesting historical items and curiosities to the attention of as many people as possible, and to promote events and books. I will highlight amazing finds, gems from the shelves, review new books I have read, films/plays I have seen and exhibitions I have visited and anything else I discover that may be of interest.
